At times, the pedestrian foot bridge remains open after a boat passes through. Between the noisy alerter and the inconvenience of not being able to pass over the bridge while it is open, one can get frustrated.

There is a solution. At each side of the bridge is a button. Press the button and the bridge will close. Not to worry, there is a sensor that will prevent the bridge from closing onto a boat.
